December 27th...

On Tuesday, we had the Brent's come in. They also brought Tyler, Aunt KK and Uncle Ray (KK and Ray came all the way from Kentucky!). They had such a fun time while they were here. We went out to eat and then came home and relaxed. Polly did most of the holding, but I don't think Macey minded at all! But yes, everyone got a chance to hold her! Her outfit that she wore came all the way from Missori and from her Aunt Tonya. I thought it was such a cute onsie and I LOVE the pearls around the neck!!! Super cute!!!

Thanks everyone for a great Christmas!! Cannot wait for next year! We add two babies (Baby Hudson and Baby Camryn) to the imediate mix next year and it will be so much fun!!!

Macey slept 8 hours on Monday night and this is what she looked like the next morning! I love waking her up when she is such a happy girl and smiling as big as can at daddy and me!

Christmas at the Ranch

I was so glad Austin could get off work so we could go down to the ranch for Christmas! We had a blast!!! We headed down on Christmas day (Sunday) and got in around 11:30pm. Brittany and Mamaw were anxiously awaiting our arrival and Brittany didn't waste anytime holding her! After lots of crying, Toddy woke up and came to see her just in time to feed her a bottle. I am so glad we didn't wake the whole house; she was getting pretty loud! After some short visiting, we all headed to bed! Macey went down in a pack and play which was her first time sleeping in one of those. She had slept the entire 3 hour drive and I was worried that she wouldn't go down after such a deep sleep nap.. but she did! She was up the next morning around 7:15 am. We handed her off after she ate breakfast and it was back to bed for me! Austin got in the shower and then we all had breakfast.. Papaw's yummy breakfast casserole. After I got a shower, we got Macey ready to head down to the ranch.

When we got down to the ranch house, we all just hung out for a little bit before grabbing a bite to eat. I had barely eaten any of my lunch when they called for stockings! Since Macey is so little I had to hold her! She was the youngest cousin there!

After the kids do stockings, it is time for the adults to have some fun. We do an exchange where you can steal and switch presents; it usually gets pretty interesting. The theme of this year (I guess thats what you can call it) was that Andrew (Brittany's boyfriend) was a "virgin" because it was his first Christmas at the Ranch. Everyone was giving him a hard time but it's all fun and games!!!! He took it well!!! After the adult exchange, the boys (and usually me too) head out for the afternoon hunt.

Once we got back to the house in town (Mamaw and Papaw's house) and later the boys got home, we did our Macey Christmas. We did the same kind of exchange game and all ended up with great presents! Then we had the kids open presents and we did stockings from Mamaw and Papaw. It was our last Christmas so I was a little sad when it was over.

All in all it was a great trip! Macey did so good for such a long car ride and weekend away from home. She slept in the car there and back and in her pack and play two nights in a row! I cannot wait until next year at the ranch, we will be adding so many kids!!!! :)

Christmas Day

Macey and I got up around 8:30 on Christmas day. Austin hadn't been feeling well, so we let him sleep a little. I got Macey changed and fed and then put her in her bouncer. I got all the presents and stockings sorted out so it would be a nice easy process since we were being pushed for time. We had to be at HB and Lynnsays at 10:30. I finally got Austin up around 9 and it took him a little time to get out of bed, get some medicine, and blow his nose a couple of times... He FINALLY joined us for presents!!!

Mia got a doggie IQ puzzle to play with when we are gone. You hid the treats and she has to figure out the puzzles to get the treats. Kinda complicated but hopefully she will get the hang of it soon!

She also got a new swaddle blanket! I will have to take her picture in it sometime because it is so cute!!! It is purple, a cute ruffle in the front and it zips up! So easy!

This year, we decided to have a get together at HB and Lynnsay's house. They made us Brunch... Hashbrowns, Cinnamon rolls, Chocolate Milk, Bacon, Buscuits... and so much more! It was deliciuos!!! After brunch we moved into the living room to open stockings and presents!

We got Jackson a hockey set... Two nets, four sticks and four balls.. he will have a blast playing hockey with the family or with friends!!!

Macey got one of those interacting story animals. It is a bunny and her name is Abigail. She has three different books and Dee Dee and Harry got her all three!!!!

Austin and I got a new VIDEO CAMERA from mom and dad and it is awesome!! We videoed me last night putting together Macey's new tummy time mat. Post coming later on that.

I think everyone had a great time at Christmas Day Brunch at the Macey's! Next year we will be adding a new baby to the mix! Cannot wait!
