Ranch Trip

We took a mini vacation to the ranch the weekend before Thanksgiving and invited our friends Andrea and James to come along. We both took Friday off so we hunted Saturday morning. Here was the beautiful sunrise.
Austin and I love to hunt. Its such a peaceful time together while looking at the most beautiful scenery.
We ended up having to clean yellow jackets out of some of the blinds. This picture was a bunch of them from just one blind!!! So scary!!!
This sweet baby still had its spots! I love it!!
Saturday night after James and Andrea had arrived we decided to sit in the same blind. It was a little tight... but it was fun.

Beautiful sunset on the last night of hunting. I just love how vibrant the colors are.

It's beginning to look a lot like CHRISTMAS!

Man, I love this time of year. I just wish it was a little cooler. I mean really, December 21st and its 80 degrees outside in Texas... Come on!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It took me a while this year to get in the Christmas spirit. I was more UPSET then anything when stores and such started playing Christmas music and had their Christmas stuff out before Thanksgiving.... It just made me so angry that people were forgetting an entire holiday!!! But once Thanksgiving was over, it was Christmas time for me! I got all the Christmas shopping done early and I now have a few days to relax and not get caught up in the hustle and bustle! Bring it on!!!
The house is decorated, the presents are bought and wrapped, Christmas music coming out of the speakers, what else could you ask for. Oh, did you say SANTA!!! We saw Santa at Petsmart and couldn't resist getting a precious picture of Mia and Santa.
Now, back to the house decorations. I don't want to brag or anything, but I am pretty sure WE have the BEST looking house in the entire town of Georgetown. We worked really hard to get this just perfect, and you are more then welcome to come to our house and check it out in person!!!! We love you aggies :)

I hope that you and your family have a wonderful Christmas and I hope you get all you wanted from Santa!!!! We love yall and hope to see you over the holiday!!!!

Dr. Johns!

I love Dr. Johns.. but I am very glad to have a couple of days off!!! Yesterday when the kids would be leaving I would tell them Bye and to have a Merry Christmas!!! Their parents response was, they will be here tomorrow... and mine was.. I WON'T! haha I thought it was funny...

I am off until next Monday! I cannot wait to have a few days off with Austin. And trust me, those few days we have together will be JAM PACKED with CHRISTMAS FESTIVITIES!!!! YAY! I have been waiting for Christmas since last Christmas and guess what... it is FINALLY here! It definitely doesn't feel like Chrismas though, and not just because it is still 80 degrees outside.. BOO!!!!

I thought I'd leave you with a picture of the kids I pick up in the Van everyday. They are something and always keep it interesting driving back to Dr. Johns....

New Graduate!

We have a new graduate in the family. Lynnsay Crittenden Macey graduated from Texas A&M on December 18th (yesterday) and we were so excited for her. We could not make the graduation ceremony because Austin had to work, but we did get to celebrate with all of her family and friends at the graduation party last night at the Crittenden house. Way to go Lynnsay, we love you!!!!

A&M vs. OU Football Game

Austin and I have been planning this weekend for a while. Austin and a bunch of his friends from college... well they are my friends too, but he has known them since freshman year!!! We didn't know until a couple days before, but there ended up being 20ish of us that all sat together at the game. It was crazy, but it was a great game which was the cherry on top!

We went to Northgate Friday night after we got to town and had fun. Here is The Brents and the Barnetts!!!

Here is some brotherly love.. AB and TB!

We went to Wings and More for lunch before the game!!! Here was our side of the table, which happened to be the married and almost married couples and on the other half of the table were all the single people! haha it was funny, and not planned!

We got to the game early enough to get to see a little warming up!

Good to be back in Aggieland!!! Home of the 12th Man!!!

Here is a small portion of the group of all of us!!!

Halloween 2010

Halloween 2010 - I really feel like I had my Halloween on Friday. I got to dress up on Friday the 29th because we had a haunted house at work and I got my own room in the house and I jumped out to scare kids. It was so much fun!!!!!

Here is Mia, AKA Lobster, being a good guard dog on my lap

Here is where we sat to hand out candy on Sunday, actual Halloween!

Our tombstones in the yard

Austin had this plastic up to paint stuff for the jetski, so we decided to make it festive!!!

San Gabriel Park

Again.. we have lived here for a year and never went to the San Gabriel Park. This park was HUGE and had so much to do. The whole park is along a river, so of course there are ducks and turtles to look at.... walking trails, playgrounds, swings, pavilions..... you name it!

Tuesday, Austin was off, so we decided to take Mia down to the park. We grabbed lunch ( Chick Fil A of course) and headed to the park. Before anything, I HAD to take Mia down a slide. It was fun. After we ate lunch, we went down to the river and watched the wildlife there. Then we walked down the river a little bit and played fetch with Mia and got her some running water. We turned around and got back in the car and drove down the park a little further. Austin and I love to swing so when we saw some, we had to stop. We did a little swinging.... and Mia went down her first slide without me holding her!!! We had a blast at the park!!! We definitely have to go again soon!!!!!
AND.... the pictures are out of order... my bad!
