So apparently I have run out of space on this blog... so I am checking my options. So bear with me as I figure out my next move! It will most likely be either paying for space here or just starting a new blog!! If you have any ideas on what I can do, advice is needed! Thanks for being patient!

Now that baby girl has all these new toys from her birthday, she just loves playing with them!!! She likes having new things... hint Daddy... :)

Opening Weekend

The afternoon of Macey's birthday, we headed down to the ranch for opening weekend of deer season. We got lots of family time in during this weekend. On our last day, we thought it would be fun to take Macey in to the deer blind to see how she would do. I thought she would be fine and just play but boy was I wrong. She was not a happy camper inside.... it was about 1000 degrees outside and we were in a small box. So she was very ready to get out! We walked around and played a little bit and then we headed out. Even though she was screaming a lot, we still saw a dozen turkey and one doe! Pretty I might add :)

Nope, but Macey sure was pushing the limits :)

Macey's 1st Birthday Party Pt. 2

As I was saying, at first Macey didn't know what to do with the cake.. but after Daddy showed her how yummy the cake was, she decided to dig in!! I've never seen anything so messy and cute all at the same time!!!

All in all, it was a great party! Thanks to everyone who came, and thanks for all the presents! Macey is loving them all!!! Glad I now have this party under my belt! I am done stressing and worring about everything being perfect! Can't do anything about it now, it is over and done!

Macey's 1st Birthday Party Pt. 1

Do I really have a 1 year old.. no possible way!!! Just crazy to me.... But that is not the point! The point is that we had Macey's first birthday party on her birthday.. Sat. Nov. 3rd. We had a great turn out and I think everyone had fun! I know I did!! Here are some pictures to show you what all we did!

One Year Old!

Who knew that an almost 1 year old wouln't sit still enough to get a cute picture?!?! Not me :)  I figured she would be her cute little self and sit still, but nope. She had different plans! I even had Austin helping me and we together couldn't get her still. These were the cutest ones, but obviously the last one is the one I will be using! Silly girl!!!

 

 

 

 

 Things about Macey at 12 months old.... She is 29 inches long... 21 lbs. Eats pretty much everything we eat.. except for pizza... but definitely not eating baby food anymore. She is still sleeping great at night with the occasional wake up in the middle of the night. (my guess is bad dreams?!?!) We are officially done with formula!!!! YAY!!! She has whole milk now before nap and before bedtime. We did it cold for a little bit and she didn't seem to like it, so we warm it up a little bit for her! She loves to be outside for sure! She loves to play in the rocks and the dirt at the bunkhouse and grass up at Dee Dee and Toddys! She has a whopping 12 teeth... one for each month of her life! She loves to sit in her pink chair (photos above). I catch her just sitting and playing in it. It is so cute!! And makes her seem like such a big girl!!! Guess that's all I can think of! Oh.. we are still taking MANY steps, but not officially walking yet! That is all!

I don't even know where to start.... I have basically known the Riley's since middle school... yeah that was... MANY years ago :)  Arielle and I were best friends from the moment we met, all through high school, and stayed in touch all through college and after! When we lived in Georgetown, we lived within walking distance to Ave and Shane.. so we got to hang out. It was different hanging out with Ave and not Arielle since that is what I did for so long! But it was fun! Austin and Shane get along and we used to get together a lot when we were in town! Now that we are in Temple and not living in the same city as either girl... I just try to meet them every so often so we don't lose touch!! They are such a great family.. all of them... and I don't know where I would be with out them!! It has been fun growing our families with them.. Ave was there through my whole pregnancy and came to see us in the hospital when we had Macey, we got to see Gwynn grow so much from being a little girl to now being in school, and now Arielle being pregnant and starting her family!!! It is just mind boggling.. I still remember hanging out with them when we were in middle school...

 

Anyways! I invited them all to Macey's party and they had a wedding that day that they were attending and performing in, therefore they couldn't come. The Friday before, I met them at Roadhouse for a mini-party! We had lunch, opened presents, and ate cupcakes! Yum Yum! I am so glad that I got to see them all and that they got to see Macey! Hopefully we will get to do this again soon!! Afterall, Arielle is due in February!
