Moving Day!!

This is me and the puppies on MOVING DAY (Wednesday)!!! You can tell I worked hard. I did all the directing. We are so blessed to have so many people helping us move. Mom and dad came over right when we got to town to unload the truck and then HB came over when he got done at work to help us. Marleea Crittenden (Lynnsay's mom) cooked us our first dinner in our new house and Lynnsay brought it over to us. It was DELICIOUS!!!! The boys worked late into the night... got done around 11:30.. but we got it all unloaded. It took us two truckloads.

Thursday, Austin woke up feeling not so hot. He was sore from head to toe and just didn't feel good, so he called in and told his boss he wasn't coming to work. We did a little around the house and headed to Georgetown to clean up the old house a little. The electricity had already been turned off, so it was a little toasty and we finished pretty quick and headed back home. While Austin rested and then took a shower for work the next day, I organized our closet... which is a work in progress along with the entire house! Oh the joys of moving!!!

Today, Austin woke up and got ready for work at 7:00am. When he was done, he came and laid back in bed. He said it stomach didn't feel good, but headed to work anyway. He messaged me about 10:30 and said he had thrown up a couple of times. He said he had heard at work that a bug was going around. We had a lunch date at 1 and he called me about 12:30 and said he had thrown up a couple more times and he was coming home. I feel so bad that he hasn't been feeling good, but I am glad that I haven't caught it from him.... yet..... Our house was completely DIRTY so today we have been slowly cleaning the house. We finished cleaning our closet, bathroom, bedroom, and living room. It is starting to feel clean and like ours :) Even though we still have STUFF and BOXES everywhere, we managed to get our bathroom the way we want it, along with our bedroom set up and the living room set, so that is a good start. With Austin working and me being 8/9 months pregnant, it will be a very slow process, but I think once we get everything set, it will all turn out great!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Cannot wait!!!!!!

34 Weeks

I am now 34 weeks!!!! We went to the dr. today for a check up and a sonogram. It worked out to where my mom, dad, mother in law, and Austin got to go and watch Miss Macey be sweet in my belly. We even got to see her sucking her thumb! It was sooo cute and amazing to see. She wasn't awake for that long, but I guess she figured if she sucked her thumb for us, it would be enough. It was pretty cute :)

Her heartbeat was 162 when they first checked, and then the other two times it was around 145. Dr. Baylor measured my tummy and it was still around 32 inches. She was concerned that I had gained a little weight, but sue me, we were in College Station over the weekend and ate tons... so oh well!!!!! Other then that everything was great!!!!! Love my little Macey!

Move to Temple update

Well...... WE FOUND A HOUSE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We officially have a roof over our heads in the monster town of Temple! We are still renting, but it was a very frustrating look for a perfect rent house, but I am pretty sure we found it! We are actually driving (just drove through Hearne) to College Station right now for the AGGIE FOOTBALL game! Which is acutally the worst timing ever, but HOPEFULLY it will be worth it.

We packed up a little last night and feel like we don't have too much more to pack up. We make the big move on Wednesday. Our plan for now is to take a load (including our bed) to Temple on Monday and spend the night in Temple because Austin has to work open to close. On his lunch break we will be picking up a moving truck. We will drive that back to Georgetown Tuesday night, pack up a little and then finish on Wednesday and bring it all to Temple and into our house!!!! I cannot wait to have the house perfectly decorated for people to see and to get Macey's nursery done! She will probably have the cutest room in the house!

Not too much to update, but thought I would keep you guys in the loop on our progress!!! Mom thinks Thanksgiving dinner at my house... I say slow your roll!! We aren't quite ready for that yet!

Lets go AGS!!!!! BTHO OSU!

33 Weeks

This isn't the best picture, but I am far behind on my posts for the weeks. With this whole moving thing, it is all that has been on my mind!!!! Austin was in Temple Thursday night for an early morning Friday and I joined him Friday night after a baby shower/farewell party at Dr. Johns. We didn't head back to Georgetown until Monday night. Tuesday my friend Avery came to help(more like just do it herself) pack up the house. She was SUCH a big help and we got the entire dining room and kitchen packed up! I also had a baby shower on Saturday so look for a post on that very soon!!!! For now I have to get back to looking for rent houses!!!

Nothing has really changed with Macey, just growing and kicking!!! Love my baby girl!

Macey Updates

I went to the doctor today and got lots of new stats!!! First off, Macey is still a girl and has a FULL head of hair!!! I cannot wait to see what color it is when she's born! She is about 4 lbs right now.... she is a heavy sleeper (I hope that sticks around!).... I am 32 weeks and my belly measures at 32 inches!!! She is definitely a growing girl! She has her head up, so daddy will be giving her a pep talk when he gets home to get her head down... if she was born right now her booty would be the first thing out... no good!!!!! We gottta get that girl turned!!!! I guess thats all for now, I will be back soon for picture of 33 weeks!!!!!

I also have 2 baby showers this weekend, so be ready for pictures!!! I have one Friday, which is more of a going away party for work, and one on Saturday with Family and Friends!!! I cannot wait to see all the cute stuff everyone is getting for Macey. She is one lucky baby to have so much love around her!!!!!

Cousins...

Millie Macey and Mia Jo Brent are the sweetest cousins ever!!! They are so cute when they finally warm up to each other and play. This picture is them watching the Cowboy Game (ps, I have NOTHING to say about that game, I pretend it never happened) and being so sweet and sharing the chair! Sometimes I wish these girls could talk. I would love to know what they are thinking as they chase each other around the house!!!! Sweet girls....

New Guns..

Austin got a good deal on these two shotguns from a customer of his at Sherwin Williams. They were super nice and for the price he was going to get.. he jumped on the opportunity to get them. We have always wanted to own a gun, since we do go hunting... and we finally now can say we own a gun!!!!! Now I just need Austin to get his hunting license since I probably wont be doing much hunting this season with a tiny tot in tow :)

Austin and dad did a little skeet shooting this weekend and I think Austin had a good time! I think HB even got in on the action! And yes, if you couldn't tell from the picture, the guns are matching!! So cute!!!! Anyways, I think they had a great time and I think we will be going to the farm more often for practice so Austin can maybe hunt the season without me! We shall see, and I will keep you updated on that!!!!

32 Weeks...

Macey is a growing girl!!!! She is 16.7 inches long and weighs about 3 pounds!!! I go for a sonogram tomorrow and I cannot wait to see my sweet girl!!!!! Not much has changed... she is still kicking like a champ.... making mommy's close not fit... I finally have swelling in my toes and fingers... She has started getting presents and I LOVE opening them and picturing my little girl in the clothes! She is going to be the cutest thing on the block!

Moving Progress

Well, first off, we started looking at houses!!! It is definitely going to be a rollar coaster ride finding a house. I hope we find the perfect one. We have a busy Sunday/Monday of looking at more houses coming up too!

Austin finally got boxes down so we can start slowly packing up everything. Especially things we won't be using or needing in the next 2-3 weeks.

He painted the (what was going to be) nursery one color. We figured it would be hard for the owner of the house to rent it out or sell it with a pink and teal bedroom, so we just painted it all teal. It is almost finished!!! Way to go Austin!!

Macey's new hobby..

She already has her first hobby!!!! Kicking mommy in the ribs! It is so lovely... haha. I don't know why she thinks it is so fun, and of course it doesn't hurt, but it doesnt feel great either! She is such a silly little girl already and I cannot wait to see her in a short 8ish weeks :)

Austin's Promotion

Well, as I stated in a previous post, Austin just got a promotion!!! We will be moving to Temple... THIS MONTH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He will still be assistant manager in this store which is actually a bigger store than the one he is in now(which means pay raise :)). The current assistant manager in Temple has refused to do one of his jobs, and so they are demoting him to just a full timer. He will still be in the store when Austin starts there... on Monday the 12th. The DM seems to have a lot of confidence in Austin to do what that store needs to fix. They think the guys that work there already are set in their ways and he wants Austin to get in there and mix it up a little. It's a good thing that this new DM really likes him! Much better then the last DM. I am so very excited for Austin and I hope he gets a really good experience from this store and the manager who has been at the Temple store for like 40 years... haha.

I also just called my boss and gave him my two weeks. My last day at Dr. John's is officially Friday the 16th! I am excited and really sad all at the same time!!!! It will be nice to be home relaxing and slowly packing and not on my feel all day. But those kids are going to be so sad and I am going to miss them so much!!!!!

We are heading to Temple tomorrow to start looking for houses. We will have a little time before the sun goes down Monday night to look and then hit it hard again on Tuesday morning and HOPEFULLY find something that we can move into pretty soon. Our lease is up at the end of the month so thats not too much time to get this house packed up and into the next!!! But I am really excited and cannot wait for this new journey!!!!

I am ready to get the nursery going again!! I know I just left everyone hanging on that.. but we will pick it up again soon!!!!

31 Weeks and still trucking...

I am now, as of Thursday, 31 weeks!!!!! I cannot believe how fast it is still all going. It is unreal and I wish it would slow down so I can enjoy it!

I have people tell me, and I see on Facebook too, how people just hate the last month or so and can't wait to get their sweet baby out...... I don't want to be that person! I seriously want to enjoy ever minute of being pregnant until she is out and in the world. I don't want to feel like it is dragging on, even if she does decide to cook a little longer than expected! I just want to love being pregnant until the end, and so far so good. I have been so blessed when it comes to being pregnant. No morning sickness... still no stretch marks.... belly button holding on and not popping out... so I just want all this to continue til the end!

On another note... I cannot wait until Miss Macey is here!!!

FINALLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Finally, I can spill my guts! I have been waiting for WEEKS to be able to talk openly about this whole Temple situation! We just weren't "for sure" that he got the job and definitely didn't know WHEN we would be moving.

Austin had his "interview" with the District Manager yesterday and it was actually his first time meeting the guy! He just started being the DM about a month ago but still lives in New Mexico. But Austin said he is a nice guy and hope that big things are to come in the future. Anyways, the point of the meeting was to talk about the Temple job!!! If he got it, how much he will make, and when they would want him at the new store! All those questions were answered yesterday over a big lunch.

We are indeed headed back to my old stomping grounds (go wildcats :)) and Austin will start working at that store on September 12th. Between now and then we are HOPING to find a house and start packing up here and moving it there! Once we find a house, Austin will be painting the nursery because that is one of the most important things that we need to get done right now..... As the days go on, the more nervous I get that Miss Macey won't have a room.... We are headed to Temple on Monday and Tuesday to start looking to see what is available to rent in the area. Wish us luck :)

I have decided that September 16th will be my last day at Dr. Johns, if it all works out the way I want. Austin thinks that I need to be home so I can slowly start putting stuff in boxes and with work and packing, it would just be too much. One thing at a time! I normally HATE packing and moving, but for some reason I am SUPER PUMPED to be moving back to Temple. I am trying to not get myself TOO excited because we will probably be there only a year to a year and a half, but that is fine with me! (Macey is excited too, she just kicked me in excitement) If all the boxes weren't up in the attic, I would probably already have half the house packed up! Lets get this party started!!!!!!!!!!!!
