New Car Seat

Isn't Macey precious in her new car seat!!! If you have seen her lately, you have noticed that she is a little snug in her infant car seat!!! She look so big in it, and now she looks TINY in her new big girl car seat.... I cannot wait to put it in my car and her use it for the first time!!! Love this little girl even though her daddy and I agree that she is already EXPENSIVE... EEK!!!!

Daddy's last softball game

We went to Ausitn's softball game on Monday... his actual last game is tonight, but it's past Macey's bedtime, so we are skipping it... and basically that game clenched their first place position in their league! Way to go Bud Light Bombers!!! Macey was so cute and chill at the game in her stroller!!! I had to get Dad to take a picture of us as a family of blue!!!! Way to go Daddy, we love you!!

Shells

Daddy took this cute picture of us. We were getting the shells we collected at the beach from outside. We had them in water for a while and then let them dry and now they are so pretty! I love collecting shells! And yes Macey is chewing on a shell in the picture!

We Love The Dallas Cowboys!

There are less than 50 days until COWBOY kickoff!!!! We cannot wait and neither can Macey! Isn't her onsie cute! Too bad she doesn't love her pacis anymore because she has 2 Dallas Cowboy pacis.... oh well! We love the thumb so suck away Mace! Also enjoy the cute picture of Mia sleeping on the pillow at the bottom. I am blessed to have two cute girls!!

Change?!?! After 14 years....

Man, that sounds like ages!! 14 years....  We went to dentist today and they decided that it was time my bottom retainer came off... really?!?! I was on my second one and I have had it there since I got my braces off in Middle School!!! I will tell you, it is wierd not having it there.... I mean it was there for so long... very different! I don't know what else to tell you, I am just having a wierd day : /

Day 6... the last day... Part Three

After a hard morning of seeing lots of sea creatures, we had one tuckered out baby!! Austin had been dying for seafood, so we ate lunch at a resturant on the bay called... Amberjacks. It was fun and Austin enjoyed his fish!! Macey enjoyed it too... looking at the birds, fish, and eating a little bit of our food too. She is getting so big and I cannot believe what she is eating these days. It was nice that we jam packed the morning so we wouldn't be thinking about it being the last day at the beach....

That afternoon after we got back from lunch, we of course headed to the beach! Since we knew about the beach trip, I had it in my mind to take a cute jumping picture on the beach... but first a cute picture of us :)

Austin and I having a little fun!

Since it was the last night and everyone was still in town... we had a shrimp boil. Rocco cooked... with a little help... shrimp, corn, potatoes, and sausage!!! It was delicious!!! I even ate TWO little shrimps... and that is good for me. If you know me, you know I DO NOT like seafood.... but since Macey was born, I have been a little more adventurous! I have been eating more seafood than usual! We also took this time to get a good picture of the Macey family.... The Brents, The Dawkins, The Maceys, and The Maceys! Mary Beth was kind enough to come take the picture for us! I haven't seen them so I hope they turned out great!!! Maybe Macey will have a BIG SMILE in one of them!!! That would be cute.

After a fun night.... and to add on, Lynnsay won big a Tripoley that night... Saturday we all woke up and slowly one by one left our beach vacation. It was sad to leave.... and a LONG, LONG drive home... but what made it better was having Mom and Dad behind us, so when we stopped, they stopped with us. Made the trip a little bit better for sure!!

We were lucky to only have rain one day at the beach but we had some storms on the way home!! I got a cool picture of a storm we passed through! It was crazy.. it looked like the rain was coming down and the dirt was going up... very wicked looking.

And last but not least, I have to say a little something about my near death experience!!!! I am always known for playing out in the big waves with the boys! Austin and I LOVE to play in the waves... and HB does too!! When we were out there, the undertow was pretty bad, but it was awesome to feel and push against!! Well, none of us were paying attention and before I knew it, I was knocked over and under the water I went. In movies and such you always see them get taken under and just keeps you under and I was so afraid I was a goner.... but thank goodness the water was extra shallow..maybe 3ft.. and so I just stood up... I know sounds scary huh!??!?! But it was the first time I had every been jerked under so it was scary to me!!! Just wanted to add that :)

All in all, it was a GREAT trip and I cannot wait to go to the beach again. Next year the trip it is to the river. I know you remember my post about the river last year... I was WAY pregnant!!! But I know that will be another great trip! Hope we get to go!!!

Day 6... the last day.... Part 2

After going to the touchy place.... we headed back to South Padre (the other place was in Port Isabel) to see the big turtles!!! Macey was interested in them and watching them swim around. I wonder what she was thinking...

We were a pretty small group at the turtles... just the Macey clan representing! It was Macey, Austin, Mary Beth, Colby, Marilyn, Camryn, Uncle Doug, and Mamaw... well and me of course! It was fun anyway and I got some good pictures!

Day 6... the last day... Part One

The last day we were all going to be there was an eventful one!!! The morning started out with a beach babe photoshoot... I foung this a week or so before we left for the beach and knew it was perfect for the trip. Love the bows!

 A group of us wanted to go to the petting zoo of sea creatures. It was pretty fun and Macey seem kinda interested! First stop was the little turtles!
