17 Weeks

This was taken today and I am now 17 weeks!!! Baby Brent is finally growing!!!! I have gained 6 pounds in all and feeling great!!!! I am exhausted this afternoon after work.. those kids wear me out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Baby Brent is the size of a turnip and has a heartbeat of 154. I plan on listening to his/her little heartbeat before I go to bed :)

Still haven't felt any movement, but I am waiting patiently.... About a month until I find out if Baby Brent is a he or she... and again I am paitently waiting...... VERY paitently.... ish...

The kids have one more week of school so I have a feeling next week is going to be CRAZY! No school Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and a half day for the last day of school on Friday!!! Then the next week..... SUMMER STARTS... EEKK!! I am not excited really... waking up early.... Texas heat... BUT!!!!!!! Swimming!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Cannot wait to swim. CANNOT!!!

As you can probably tell, I am tired so I am ending this craziness and taking myself to bed! Adios!

Jaws.... AHHHHH!!!!!

HB and Lynnsay have a sunroom in their new place and they needed to spice up the room. They asked to use my stuffed shark and of course I said yes!! It was a way better idea then it just sitting in storage like it has for two years now!!!! It looks so cool being hung up! They are going to use it and have a vintage shark type room now. So awesome!!!

Puppy Sitting

While my mom and dad were in Orlando, FL... we kept Belle for them. She was so sweet and obeyed our rules of the Brent house very well! She had an ear infection so I had to put medicine in her ears everyday!!! It wasn't that bad and she was good for me while I put those drops in there!

Twins!!!!

Belle had pigtails when she first came to us, and one day after the girls played, she just had one ponytail! So I got the bright idea to put it in Mia's hair and they became twins!!! I thought they were super cute!!!!!

Mother's Day X 3

Yes, you read that correctly... I got to celebrate Mother's Day 3 times this year and I am not even a mother yet!!!!!!!!

Mother's Day 1-- Actual Mother's Day, May 8th.... The Brent's came down and we went out to eat for lunch. We wanted steak so we headed to Saltgrass in Round Rock. It was super yummy!!!! After lunch we came back to the house and basically hung out the rest of the day and watched the Dallas Mavs bball game on TV! It was a great way to spend my first pre-mother's day!

Mother's Day 2-- The next weekend, May 15th.... We headed to Temple to hang out at the farm. We headed in early and Austin rode the jetski on the tank!!!! He had a blast! HB even came out to ride it a little. Lynnsay showed up a little later because she was taking pictures of the cows for my moms website for selling purposes. Not long after, the Dawkin's showed up with their precious children in tow! We had a great dinner, fajitas, and once everyone was stuffed, mom opened her presents and everyone headed home. It was a great way to spend my second pre-mother's day.

Mother's Day 3-- This past weekend, May 22... The Nix Family had us all come over to their house. The bigger occasion was Mamaw and Papaw being in town!!! But we were celebrating Mother's Day for her! It was really good to see them since they live so far away now!!!! Uncle T made hamburgers and they were delicious!!!!!! Everyone gave Mamaw their presents and we slowly one by one headed out the door. The Macey's (HB and Lynns) met us out at the farm and the men rode the jetski again. Lynnsay took a nap while I laughed at HB when he fell off and couldn't get back on! It was a great way to spend my third pre-mother's day.

Weeks 13-16

13 Weeks -- (April 28- May4th) Baby Brent was the size of a medium shrimp and had a heartbeat of 154-156. Not too much to report. Just trying to catch up on sleep!! I never feel like I can get enough. Baby Brent and I celebrated my 26th birthday!!! We headed to Galveston for our annual anniversary trip/birthday/mother's day trip! We had a great time!!!!

14 Weeks -- (May 5-11)Baby Brent was the size of a lemon and had a heartbeat around 154. Still trying to catch up on this sleep!!! By this point I had still not gained but one or two pounds, and started to get worried. But everyone around me said not to worry about it, that I was healthy. I just always thought pregnancy = weight gain... not loss! During Baby Brent's 14th week, we rode a rollar coaster, rode a ferris wheel, drove home from the beach, and celebrated my pre-first Mothers Day.


15 Weeks -- (May 13-18) Baby Brent was the size of an apple and had a heartbeat around 156. Baby Brent went with me to prepare for summer work at our training we had to attend. We also got First Aid and CPR certified!!! Go us!

16 Weeks -- (May 19-25) Baby Brent was the size of an avacado and had a heartbeat around 154-156. I am finally gaining weight and it makes me feel so much better!!! I have gained about 5 pounds now. I am starting to show, my belly is getting more round then just flabby! The kids at work like to try and hear Baby Brent (or Jo Mama as they call it... well one kid calls it Darth Vador, so call it what you want) but of course they cannot hear anything. It makes me feel good that they want to be a part of everything that is going on with me!!! I should start to feel Jo Mama soon, but I haven't yet or I just haven't figured out that those feelings are the baby yet!! Either way, I cannot wait to figure it out and start feeling this thang!!!! Jo Mama had his/her first garage sale!! We actually did pretty good. I think we ended up with about $250 dollars!!!!! Again, way to go us!!!

Embarassed...

I am so embarassed at how many weeks have gone by without me blogging... can you say SLACKER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ANYWAYS.. just wanted to say I am back, and hope to stay around for a while and bring you up to date! It is probably a good thing that I don't do much, so I don't have too much to write about :)
