The park..

We went and took lunch to Daddy at the store yesterday and on our way home we passed this park.. which we have passed a million times before too.. but the weather was super nice so I just decided to stop so Macey could play for a little bit before her nap. She had so much fun!! We played in the swing for a little bit.. then I put her down to play and she LOVED the rocks. I think we will be stopping by more often!

Diaper Fail...

 

When I change Macey's diaper these days, she finds it funny to try and undo her diaper. I continuously slap her hand and tell her no. It doens't get anywhere but that isn't the point! I never thought in a million years that I would look into the monitor and find Macey's diaper basically off her little booty. Austin and I were literally cracking up everytime we looked at the monitor. Thank goodness she doesn't tinkle a whole bunch during naptime and definitely thank goodness that she doesn't usually poop... that could have made the situation WAY WAY worse for sure. Macey is definitely a silly little girl and I think this post just confirms it for you too! Hope it makes your day!

Happy Halloween!!!!

Being that Macey's birthday is in three days, it is hard to believe that this is her first Halloween! Last year at this time we were hard core preparing for our little bundle of joy!!! Crazy to think about that! But she is definitely adorable this Halloween! We got everyone together on Sunday afternoon to make sure we got cute pictures of the kids and you will be able to see from the pictures that we definitely have the 4 cutest kids in the Temple/Belton area! Enjoy your Halloween! I will be enjoying my.. I mean Macey's.. candy!!!

Best Friends

My friend Whitney and I have been friends for like 18 years now! That is a really long time!!! We don't get to see each other all the time, but when we do it is always really fun!! It is definitely a lot different these days!! We both have a kid now. Brynlie is 2 and Macey will be 1 on Saturday so they are super cute together! This past Saturday we went to lunch at McAlisters. Brynlie was so sweet to Macey and shared her Teddy Grahams. Brynlie would reach out as far as she could and put it on the table, then Macey would reach out as far as she could to reach it and of course it was always just out of her reach! It was too cute but of course we helped Macey out so she could eat the tiny Teddy Graham! Once lunch was done, Whitney wanted to see Mom's house. Brynlie loved Belle and the cows too. So after a tour of the house, we played outside for a little bit. The girls were too precious playing on the fence and sharing leaves too. Precious girls! I hope one day they will be best friend and cherish the friendship like I do!

 

We miss you Memaw...

When we went to cousin Jack's party, I noticed something new in the neighborhood. My grandmother, Memaw lived on FM 93 just one house down from my aunt and uncles house and two down from my cousins... and when I was driving to the party, I noticed a new gate in front of Memaw's house. I thought it was a little odd. My mom's brother, Steve lives right in front of Memaw's house and has taken the game keeper role. Ever since she died my mom has wanted to get into the house and get some stuff to remind her of her mother. Steve didn't seem to think that was very appropriate.... lame!

 

So anyways, what I am getting at is that I don't think my Memaw would have wanted her house and all her things to just rot away and I don't know who gave my Uncle Steve crown and be able to make those decisions. It definitely made me tear up then and now again to think how mean that is to just shut everyone out and take over the house. I know it makes my mom really sad too. I know life isn't fair, but really. Just seems a little crazy to me. I know Memaw is up in heaven looking over me and wishing that things were different. I know she wouldn't want her daughter being upset about losing things that mean a lot to her in the house. Just wish I could do something about it.

Cousin Jack's 4th Birthday Party

We had a blast at Jack's party!! It was at their house in Belton and they had a petting zoo and face painting too!!! They had square bales of hay for tables and chairs outside and it was nice weather to play in so it was awesome!!! We got some great pictures and I hope you enjoy them too!!

Sorry that I am having to break these up. My pictures stop downloading... kinda annoying! Anyway here are more pictures from us playing. We also went to visit Hudson on this day and he was adorable too!! I only took pictures of those two on my phone. I'll try to get them in the next post. I just can't get enough of this sweet doll's eyes! Blue as they come for sure!  

 

 

 

 I'm sure you recognize this chair as her monthly picture chair. Well we keep it down in her play area now and she loves to climb on it and sit in it. I try to get her to read her books in it or I make her sit in it while I read to her. Hopefully she will pick up on it and it will be her reading chair!
