Ranch Trip

We took a mini vacation to the ranch the weekend before Thanksgiving and invited our friends Andrea and James to come along. We both took Friday off so we hunted Saturday morning. Here was the beautiful sunrise.
Austin and I love to hunt. Its such a peaceful time together while looking at the most beautiful scenery.
We ended up having to clean yellow jackets out of some of the blinds. This picture was a bunch of them from just one blind!!! So scary!!!
This sweet baby still had its spots! I love it!!
Saturday night after James and Andrea had arrived we decided to sit in the same blind. It was a little tight... but it was fun.

Beautiful sunset on the last night of hunting. I just love how vibrant the colors are.

It's beginning to look a lot like CHRISTMAS!

Man, I love this time of year. I just wish it was a little cooler. I mean really, December 21st and its 80 degrees outside in Texas... Come on!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It took me a while this year to get in the Christmas spirit. I was more UPSET then anything when stores and such started playing Christmas music and had their Christmas stuff out before Thanksgiving.... It just made me so angry that people were forgetting an entire holiday!!! But once Thanksgiving was over, it was Christmas time for me! I got all the Christmas shopping done early and I now have a few days to relax and not get caught up in the hustle and bustle! Bring it on!!!
The house is decorated, the presents are bought and wrapped, Christmas music coming out of the speakers, what else could you ask for. Oh, did you say SANTA!!! We saw Santa at Petsmart and couldn't resist getting a precious picture of Mia and Santa.
Now, back to the house decorations. I don't want to brag or anything, but I am pretty sure WE have the BEST looking house in the entire town of Georgetown. We worked really hard to get this just perfect, and you are more then welcome to come to our house and check it out in person!!!! We love you aggies :)

I hope that you and your family have a wonderful Christmas and I hope you get all you wanted from Santa!!!! We love yall and hope to see you over the holiday!!!!

Dr. Johns!

I love Dr. Johns.. but I am very glad to have a couple of days off!!! Yesterday when the kids would be leaving I would tell them Bye and to have a Merry Christmas!!! Their parents response was, they will be here tomorrow... and mine was.. I WON'T! haha I thought it was funny...

I am off until next Monday! I cannot wait to have a few days off with Austin. And trust me, those few days we have together will be JAM PACKED with CHRISTMAS FESTIVITIES!!!! YAY! I have been waiting for Christmas since last Christmas and guess what... it is FINALLY here! It definitely doesn't feel like Chrismas though, and not just because it is still 80 degrees outside.. BOO!!!!

I thought I'd leave you with a picture of the kids I pick up in the Van everyday. They are something and always keep it interesting driving back to Dr. Johns....

New Graduate!

We have a new graduate in the family. Lynnsay Crittenden Macey graduated from Texas A&M on December 18th (yesterday) and we were so excited for her. We could not make the graduation ceremony because Austin had to work, but we did get to celebrate with all of her family and friends at the graduation party last night at the Crittenden house. Way to go Lynnsay, we love you!!!!
