On our way to the beach, we decided since we didn't get to see family for the 4th at the ranch, that we would go up the 5th and see who we could see before the long drive to the beach! It was so much fun being at the ranch house. It is so quiet and calm... much different than Temple. We didn't get much done when we first arrived because it was 10:30 at night. We basically brought our stuff in and went to bed.
The next day was full of stuff!!! That morning we ran for one last trip to the grocery store before the beach. When we got home, we put Macey down for a nap and we sat outside for what had to be hours! We sat and watched the hummingbirds! There had to be at least 20 of them! I had never seen so many in one place in my life! I had always assumed since they were so small they were quiet, but they proved me wrong! They are SO noisy!!!! While we were outside we grilled hotdogs! Yum Yum!!! Later on that day, Macey got to meet her 4th cousin, Addison! Chuck is my dad's first cousin, Sarah is Chuck's daughter, and Addison is Sarah's daughter! Very confusing, I know!!! But anyways, Addison and Macey had fun playing!!! While they were over, we got to see some of our other family!! Just a big family reunion!!!
That night... Hudson, HB and Lynnsay got into town. Lynnsay was shooting a wedding in Castroville on Saturday so they came in Friday night. Poor Hudson after sitting in his carseat for the whole drive... all he did for the first 10 minutes they were there was stretch out his arms and legs!!! It was cute! We played with the babies and all went to bed!
Saturday morning, after breakfast, Austin and I packed up the car and we were off for the beach! HB and Lynnsay were headed to the beach Sunday, and Mamaw and Papaw came on Wednesday!!!
