Austin, Haley, and Baby Macey: Macey's first time at the lake!

Macey had an ABSOLUTE blast at the lake!!! We went to visit the Brent's for a long weekend and we were out on the lake everyday! We were going to head out on Friday, the 1st, but Austin had a softball tournament so we stayed Friday night and headed out Saturday early afternoon. As soon as we got there, we put our swimsuits and sunscreen on and we were on the water!!!! One of the first things that happened was Austin ALMOST lost his very expensive sunglasses that he got for Christmas a couple of Christmases ago. He jumped in the water and they went down, thank goodness we were by the boat ramp and shallow enough that he found them with his toes and brought them up.... it was a close on!!! It was like ALMOST losing his Aggie Ring all over again : /

We had a great time out on the boat on Saturday... everyone went! Polly, Jack, Spanky, Mia, Macey, Me, Austin, and Tyler! The whole family as one!!! Tyler has a friend that has a house with lake access so we went over there with the boat and played in the water a bit there. It is really shallow so that makes it fun, you don't have to tread water the whole time. This is where we put Macey in the water for the first time. These pictures are all from Saturday!

Polly (or Momaw) gave Macey three little rubber duckies to play with at the house and Macey loved them!!! She chewed on them all weekend!

On Sunday, Polly was singing at church.. the whole reason we went to town... and they dedicated the song to me! It was so sweet and made Austin tear up. It was a song about parents hoping for a great and godly women for their sons.. which obviously they got.. wink wink :) ... and they hope the same thing for Tyler too! It was very touching and I am so thankful to be so loved by Austin's family. After lunch, again we headed to the water. This time we left Macey with Momaw and Pops and Tyler, Austin and I headed for blue on the map! We met up with Tyler's friend Nate which was actually perfect because we ate at his resturant at lunch and left one of Macey's favorite toys there which he found and brought to us, thank goodness!!! It was fun and a nice day.

Monday, since Austin was off of work, we stayed and went out on the boat as a family of three! Macey was excellent and loved it again. It was the PERFECT day to be on the water. We were one of maybe 4 boats on the entire lake. The water was calm and it was amazing. Macey got in the water with Mommy and then she took about an hour nap on the boat! She was tuckered out!
