College Station

This past weekend we headed to College Station to stay for the weekend. We got into town (we actually stayed in bryan) around 5 and were the first ones to the house we rented for the weekend. This house was 102 years old and was just as you could expect. Lots of antiques and floors that creeked. It was set up pretty nice though. Had plenty of room for the 9 adults and one baby that were staying with lots of extra room too! The room that we chose was upstairs. It was it's own little suite. It had a bathroom up there too! Just perfect becuase it was ways away from everything else so we wouldn't have to be quite when Macey was sleeping. And speaking of her, she did great the whole time!!! Such a good baby! And of course all of our friends loved her!

 

We meet this group of friends every year (try to) and it is all of Austin's friends from college. Of course I consider them my friends now too, but they started with him! We have all grown up so much...three marriages and one baby! We also have one wedding next summer! Maybe between now and then we will add a few more babies!??! Not by me I hope :)

 

We all got into town on Friday night and headed to dinner at Chedders. Boy was it yummy!!! After that, we headed back to the house and had a few laughs (and adult beverages) before heading to bed. The Aggie game started at 11 the next day so we tried not to stay up too late. Out of the whole group, only 4 went to the game. The rest of us headed to Buffalo Wild Wings to watch the game. It was fun and yummy too. Macey was getting pretty fussy around halftime so I thought she would sleep the best in the stroller so I got her all strapped in and started walking. I walked for about an hour and she slept for about 45 minutes. I would consider that successful!! We headed back in and of course the moment people started clapping at the game in BWW she woke up, so I am glad I stayed outside until she got a decent nap. Way to go Mommy :)  After the game, we headed towards campus to pick up the 4 that went to the game (Austin had taken them so they didn't have to park) and we all headed back to the house. After a little downtime, Austin Macey and I headed to a tent sale to buy some new aggie shirts! Of course we spent our life savings just like last year, but it sure was fun!! I love my new shirts and so does Macey! After we got back to the house, we changed clothes and all headed to dinner at Abuelos... yummy!!! Macey loved the rocks outside the resturant, we could have played out there the whole time!!! She is just so precious! After dinner, something actually came up and we headed back to the house to pack up and head home to Temple... but  all in all the weekend was soo much fun and we cannot wait until next year!!!! We will be spending it in Colorado for Blake and Lindsey's wedding! YAY!
